Cotton Candy and a Painted Pole

Baseball, Baseball! That's our game!  We took Dyleva to Larkin for dinner and then to their first baseball game.  Unfortunately, the fact that their mother rarely lets them indulge in sweets, eating a bag of cotton candy in one sitting, significantly overshadowed the excitement of the game.  A close second was the constant spotting of Conehead like 'Where's Waldo' in a sea of baseball fans.  "Where is he now Mommy?"

We have a big ass rusty pole in front of our house.  Its ugly.  Its not the kind of project you would just wake up and take care of.  Its just a pole.  So I had the niños paint it today.
Eva painted a rainbow, giving each color its legitimate space.  Whereas Dylan painted a large section one color.  And then painted over it in another color.  And then another.  They did an awesome job, and it looks so much better!  Eva had asked, "Mommy, how can someone not make something beautiful?"
