Tampa. For better or worse.

I did not get a vote. I was told Dylan's hockey team voted in a Florida tournament.

Anyway, make the best of it. It wasn't terrible getting away from Buffalo weather in February.

I flew down separately because of work. I met Dyleva on Friday evening. They were running around the hotel with hockey players. We were there for 3 nights. The Regals did not win the championship, but they won half the games. They didn't do too badly. They played great except for the game that was a 6:30 wake-up. That one was rough!

After the tournament, we stayed with friends in a house in Clearwater. The beach was gorgeous. There was no one there. It was white sand and pristine.

It was a lot of fun. The kids pretty much had the run of the house. Dyleva was well-behaved. Here are some highlight photos!

BEACH WEEKS!!!

We have stopped calling it a vacation. Now we just "commute from the beach." I, actually only left once a week. But now that hockey season is all year round, Dylan and Jeff leave often.

That being said, it was an interesting year. We probably had the nicest weather in all the years we have been there. It was hot and sunny every day except for one. Unfortunately, it was also very algaey. At one point, the lake turned over and a lot of fish turned up dead on the shore.

Dyleva each had a friend come out for a bit. And the third week, family arrived. Here is Eva's annual video.
