Distance Learning week 4

Wednesday, April 8
Today our walk was off Wehrle.  I think the actual name is Tillman, however it is lovingly referred to as " the park where Marley jumped in the water and started swimming.

Anyway, Eva wants to call it Sandy Beach.  We walked the perimeter of the lake/pond.

Later that day, Dyleva finished their studies and then went outside.  Eva made a cool hopscotch path.  Henry, our friend and neighbor designed CoronaBunny!

Thursday, April 9

Today we had the wildest weather.  We woke up to a blizzard.  When we left the house for our walk, it was downpouring.
You can imagine the mood in the car.  
But Grandma must have been on our side, because the clouds parted and the sun came out.  We had a nice walk, a little bickering, but that is the norm these days.
When we got in the car to go home, we were driving in a hail storm.  Eva was cracking up.  It was bizarre!

Friday, April 10

Our Fridays never quite turn out how we anticipate.
Today was Good Friday.  We wanted to finish the little work we had for school, take a great hike, dye eggs, and come home and do centers.
Well, Dyleva had more school work left than I thought.

Jeff was still doing whatever to his wall, and had plastic up everywhere, which made dying eggs a challenge.  Difficult to get back and forth in the kitchen with walls of plastic up.
But we persevered.

Then, I wanted to take a walk.  In the snow, yes, we woke up to a blizzard.  And....I couldn't find the park.  Perdida took me to a private drive.  So I pulled over, and tried to figure out where the entrance to Nature View was.  I found it!  On the other side of the park.  Ten minutes away.  
It was extremely muddy.  But fun!!!

Saturday, April 11

Dyleva woke up to a Virtual Fruity Friends Birthday Party.  Yes, yes, a bartending party.  Lots of sugar included.  Their cousin Kennedy turned seven years old.

Another muddy day!  Bright sunshine today, but cold.  We returned to Sandy beach.  Today, however, they closed it off.

So, we went around. 
We discovered another path.
The rest of the day we cleaned the house to prepare for brunch guests tomorrow.

Sunday, April 12
Easter Sunday

We broke the rules.

We hosted for my sisters.  Originally we were supposed to be on vacation with them, and cancelled.  

It was nice.  We ate, and ate, and then later relaxed in the sun.  the ninos played outside for a bit.  

We didn't hike today.

Monday, April 13

Happy Dyngus Day!

Today we organized things, and hiked in our back woods.

Tuesday, April 14

Today my ninos scrap booked for hours.  

Only after we walked  at Ellicott Creek and later Dylan made the basketball shot of a lifetieme!

We hiked in our back woods.  I built a fire, and Dyleva played in the back.
