Dylan Matthew

My boy has been busy.  The majority of his life is spent on the ice.  Despite that, Dylan performed excellently in school this year, his freshman year.  The kid ended with a 98 average.

Who does that?

Needless to say, for him it's school and hockey.  For hockey, his JV team won the championship.  Dylan also has been in the Regals, several three-on-threes, and yay, summer hockey (JV and Varsity B).

He has been extremely into fitness, exercise, and taking care of his body.  We did have an incident with stitches...but let's not go there.

Eva Magnolia

Eva has been a busy girl.  This year was her junior year.  She took a couple AP classes, and participated in many many after school activities.  In ATA she performed Catherine in Pippin.  Eva attended two Proms this year.  She began working at Great Lakes Coffee Roasters, and.....she just got her license.

Change

This blog began as a semi-diary of precious moments and spectacular memories.  As Dyleva grows up, they are continuing to make memories, obviously.  However, I cease to be a part of many of them... therefore, there is less to write about.  This explains why the blog has had fewer frequent entries over the past few years.

I will do my best to keep it updated, even if it is slightly less engaging than before : (

My precious babies have grown into responsible, beautiful, driven individuals.

Lancaster Championship!

Tampa. For better or worse.

I did not get a vote.  I was told Dylan's hockey team voted in a Florida tournament.

Anyway, make the best of it.  It wasn't terrible getting away from Buffalo weather in February.

I flew down separately because of work.  I met Dyleva on Friday evening.  They were running around the hotel with hockey players.  We were there for 3 nights.  The Regals did not win the championship, but they won half the games.  They didn't do too badly.  They played great except for the game that was a 6:30 wake-up.  That one was rough!

After the tournament, we stayed with friends in a house in Clearwater.  The beach was gorgeous.  There was no one there.  It was white sand and pristine.

It was a lot of fun.  The kids pretty much had the run of the house.  Dyleva was well-behaved.  Here are some highlight photos!
