Distance Learning

I have often said, the worst thing I could have done was get my Master's degree.  Once we became "accustomed" to this type of living, it is difficult to down scale.

So even though the coronavirus is wreaking havoc on our world, I have essentially become a stay at home mom!

Day 1: March 18
We started small.  Hiked Mimi's bike path and did our homeworks.

Day 2: Mar. 19
Today we went to Pit park: AKA Meadow Lea.  Eva pouted and refused to participate.  Dylan sat silent and refused to do his ELA work.  Good times.
We began Star Wars marathon, Episode 1

Day 3: Mar. 20
Today was tough.  We woke to rainstorm, but warm rainstorm.  There was a lot of fighting to get Eva out of the house.  She complained the whole way to Akron Falls.  But upon arrival, the rain stopped and we discovered quite a bit of beauty.    Yeah! Today was Friday.  After homeschool, we had center time.   Finished the evening with Star Wars Episode 2.

Day 4:
Saturday.  Jeff was home today.  We all went to Como Park, Jeff knew all the trails.  Then we played dress up, and then the afternoon outside playing basketball.  Movie: Star Wars episode III.

Day 5: Sunday
Slow morning.  We all went to hike the eternal flame in Chestnut Ridge Park.  It was a beautiful, sunny; albeit cold, spring morning.
Unfortunately, many other people also had the same idea.  It was a lot of work to social distance.
We made it down, it was quite beautiful.
Later, we hung with the cousins in the sun!

Day 6: Monday
Oooh Mondays are tough.
Dyleva struggled through their assignments today.  Eventually we made it to the Clarence bike path in between raindrops.  We took a nice walk, and then had a better afternoon.  We had a little afternoon yoga.  The Star Wars Movie Marathon continued: Episode 5, or two.  However you count.

Day 7: Tuesday
We started the day with a spunky walk at Steiglmeyer Park- the boardwalks.  Then the ninos did their assignments.  Eva video conferenced with her teacher.  I made lasagna.  Yum!
We did a little basketball, and then Dyleva played with the neighborhood kids.
