Jeff's Spring Project

It is April.

The snow has melted.  The ice has thawed.  Spring has arrived.   Well, kind of.  

Anyway, Jeff has gone outside.  Until November.  We lovingly refer to him as "The man in the yard."

This year, however, his 'project' actually interests me and Dyleva.  He has built them a tree house!

It was supposed to be built two years ago...but after the injury it got put on the back burner.

Not this year.  The man in the yard was out there from end of work, till past dusk- Rockin' the headlamp.  On weekends, from dawn till dusk.  

Seriously, one day, the man in the yard called me out to hold a beam, and there were 30 mile an hour winds and a blizzard.  My hands were frozen.  
"Hold it still!!" he would yell.  
But I lamented, "But my fingers are numb!"

Yet, he persevered.  I was quite impressed.  He had the whole thing built in less than two weeks. 

Eva actually inspired the tree house complex.  Jeff was going to do a simple tree house.  But then Eva started probing him.  Jeff got really quiet, and then went to his thinking place.  

And voila.  I present tree house complex.

There is and entrance to the main room, a hammock and mini table for entertaining.  Then the tunnel runs through the big shed, with room for storage and exits on to a platform.
