"Ok." Dylan replied nonchalantly, as if he was agreeing to chicken for dinner.
And so it began.
You would think having four months to prepare for the big day, that it would go flawlessly.
It appears there are no costumes a week out from Halloween. Probably because all the good parents already had their children's costumes ready to go, and did not wait until last minute.
So it looks like I had to fix the gown. Jeff and my mother both suggested gluing it, which I laughed at. But, it actually helped a lot! I also re-sewed all the frayed rayon at every seam, and raised the gown about six inches. It took me all week! Stupid dress.
It made it through the big day, and now we can burn it.
As for Dylan, his costume was more work initially, but lasted much longer- from paper mache horns to creating a tail. He was one cute, ferocious beast!
Both ninos had parades and parties at their schools. Later that night we went to Tia Rhonda's house to trick or treat with our cousins. The rain didn't stop the collection of candy, but the long day of partying, may have been the reason it ended by 6:30!
