PROM.

 Well, things have certainly changed since I was young.

When Eva asked if she could go to prom, I thought she was joking.

"You can't go to Prom. You're a sophomore.  Prom is for seniors."

At least it was when I was in high school.  

Times change.  Apparently, if you have a friend who is a senior, they can buy you a ticket, and then you are all set.

I was upset.  Prom is supposed to be special.  But Eva was adamant she wanted to go, and assured me there would be other years as well. 

She went with a group of friends and had a great time.
