Hoping for a Sweet Sixteen...

 I don't know if it is because June is such a busy month, but Eva was surprisingly low maintenence for her birthday.

After all!  It was sweet sixteen!

She didn't want a party.  She didn't really want much of a celebration.  Eva went to the mall with friends, and then had family over for cake and ice cream..

Eva has been invited, and accepted into National Honor Society!  I am so proud of her hard work and effort.

I laugh, because I am always telling her to "go to bed," "it's late." and she refuses.  "Mom, I have work to do."

She might be tired but she has added another club to her list.  We laugh that we might not even see her next year.
