Eva brought home some pottery that she created at school. I loved it! I mean, I find the beauty in anything my children create.
Legit, Eva made a beautiful representation of the Hilton Head lighthouse, which she gifted to her tia y tio. A little jealous. It was very thoughtful. It had all kinds of personal references to memories etched inside.
She also brought home a head. I think its kind of cool, but she wont let me have it. It is sitting upstairs in a box. Undisplayed.
Anyway. Fast forward to Mother's Day. I have low expectations. This year, however, my family bought me a bike. This was very thoughtful. I would never have bought myself a new bike. Since my car is going, a bike might come in handy.
Also, Eva gave me one of her sculptures. It wasn't the head, or the lighthouse, but a pencil for my classroom. Thank you Eva xoxo
