Distance Learning week 11

May 28- June 3

This week we have been preparing for Eva's birthday and fancy dinner party.  I closed on my Mom's house, and we have been keeping up with all our school stuff.

 Eva insisted on making her own birthday cake.  She doesn't like cake; so she first made sugar cookies to attach to the cake so she could enjoy it as well.

She did an amazing job.  And it tasted great.

The next morning I made a deal.  Wake up and knock out one of our hikes, than we would vege the rest of the day.

Deal!  We did Lockport Nature trails.  It was comfortable and cool.  

WNY Hiker's Challenge

This quarantine we joined a hiker's challenge.  I am really into it!  We need to complete at least 20 hikes from select parks in WNY.  Here are our results:

We did it!  We completed the hiking challenge!

I am so proud of Dyleva for their patience with Perdida and the maps that are a disappointment.

Warm weather has finally arrived.

This week has been a lot of preparation for selling the house.  Dyleva is getting a little antsy.  Still bickering enough to drive me crazy!  Big plans this weekend, we are going to another house for Memorial Day!

We had our first socially distanced party.  Cousins!

The next day, in the extreme heat we hiked Buckhorn in Grand Island.  On the way back we took off our clothes, soaked them in the Niagara River, and put them back on.
