Alleghany!!!

Our first excursion of the summer!  We went to Little Rock City outside of Ellicotville and hiked the afternoon.

After hiking, we went to Alleghany.  We set up camp and waited for cousins.
The next day, we hiked Mount Tuscarora.  It was a damp, cool day.  Our path up the mountain was wide and tree-lined.  It was very challenging, but wonderful conditions.  It was 2.5 miles up the mountain, and back for a total of 5 miles.  At the top there was a fire tower.

We took a swim in the Quaker lake and hung on the beach.  After we went back and had a great dinner.  Dyleva had a wonderful time biking around the campsites with their cousins.  We had a fun campfire!  

It rained both nights, but our tent held up!  The next morning we hung by Bridal Falls, and then headed home.

We had a really nice time!

The Beginning of Mommy School

Imagine how happy Dyleva was to finish distance learning only to begin Mommy School!

We only work one hour a day, plus reading.

                                                Cousins hike!

A bunch of us took a day hike to Royalton ravine.  There was a suspended swing bridge!  There were also ruins of the first woman to run for president.

Finishing up!

June 11- 17

This is a week for finishing.  Dyleva is finishing, I am also wrapping up (still have a week left), Eva finished up her ATA submission audition, and I am closing my Mom's estate.  

We have continued to walk, walk, walk!

Hillview had a Farewell parade.

Tia Jenna joined us for a hike!

We came across a friendly goose.  Dyleva fed and pet it.  You never know what you will run into!
