Best of Broadway

My little performer was getting ready for her spring performance.  The theme was "Best of Broadway."  There were a collage of numbers from Jersey boys, Grease, and of course, Beauty and the Beast- which are the numbers that Eva had.

Eva's first number was "Bonjour," where Eva had a speaking part and song.  Her second performance was "Be our guest."   Eva had a song and dance.  

She was wonderful!  Not even a tad nervous.  That's my girl!

 

 Later, they had a brief awards ceremony, to celebrate the year's achievements.

Color Run!

Last year, I co-planned it; but was unable to attend.

This year, I was able to attend and had zero planning responsibility. 

Eva and Dylan had a Color Run at their school to raise funds for a little girl with cáncer.

Tia Linda came out to run with us.

Go Tia Linda!  You rock! 

So ....we didn't exactly run.  I tried.   But I had screaming niño at my side.

Freaking out because someone threw color at him. 

Imagine that. 

Eva did great, and had a lot of fun. 

We had a successful day!

Becca's Heroes

This morning we met up at the new Children's Hospital, only to be bused to the old Children's Hospital.  


At that point we met up with like 2,000 other people to do a walk for the hospital!  



We were walking in support of those suffering; but also in memory of Rebecca, Jeff's niece.


Our team, Becca's Heroes, had quite a turnout.  Everywhere I looked, I saw a purple shirt! 


We were surrounded by super heroes!  Dylan was in awe as he posed with the ninja turtles.  

After rallying the masses, with the help of Kiss 98.5,  we began the trek back to the new hospital.   It was a lot of fun!

When we reached the end, unfortunately, it was windy and cold, and beginning to rain.  After meeting up with friends and family for a bit, Dyleva and I bailed on free hotdogs and we went to lunch....somewhere warm!
